For eight years, Bold Idea has been exciting students in north Texas with access to hands-on learning in computer science and mentors. As a company sponsor, you can help to sustain our ideaSpark Coding Clubs and Camps program in north Texas. Direct financial support enables us to fund program expenses, including the development of computer science curriculum, student learning materials, marketing materials to get students excited about computer science, technology infrastructure, teacher and mentor training and appreciation, and more.

Can bring high-quality computer science education to a Dallas school. We work closely with school staff to plan and coordinate our weekly ideaSpark Coding Club - from training teacher liaisons and assessing technology resources to recruiting students and setting up career exploration activities. Our team coordinates weekly learning sessions with volunteers from our corporate partners. Through our annual partnerships with Dallas ISD and area nonprofits, we are establishing five permanent program sites each year.

Can provide recruitment, training, and appreciation activities for volunteers. Bold Idea mentors serve as technology role models for students and support their growth as young coders. Funds support our custom-built registration portal and database, as well as marketing and events to encourage mentor sign-ups. We create engaging training videos or conduct in-person sessions to prepare technologists to mentor students. Volunteer appreciation includes the Outstanding Mentor Awards, Team Captain dinner, and volunteer meetups.
