Leadership Transition at Bold Idea

Dear Bold Idea community,

As someone who has walked alongside us in our mission, we want to share a deeply personal milestone at Bold Idea. After 11 years of visionary leadership, Robyn Brown will be stepping down as CEO at the end of 2025.

Robyn didn’t just lead Bold Idea — Robyn inspired us. From the first spark of an idea to the thriving community we are today, Robyn’s passion and dedication have shaped every chapter. Whether it was greeting students at our after-school programs, forging partnerships that opened new doors, or celebrating each volunteer’s impact, Robyn’s warmth and commitment have touched us all.

Under Robyn’s guidance, we’ve grown from a dream to a movement, serving over a thousand students, building lasting relationships with schools and corporations, and creating a culture where every child feels seen and empowered. These numbers tell a story, but it’s the moments — the smiles, the breakthroughs, the friendships — that truly define Robyn’s legacy.

Change is never easy, but it is also a time for renewal. As we prepare to welcome a new Executive Director, we carry forward Robyn’s spirit and vision. We’ll be sharing more soon, and hope you’ll join us in celebrating Robyn and embracing the next chapter together.
