Bold Idea Launches 5 New Coding Clubs
This fall, Bold Idea is thrilled to launch five new Coding Clubs across Dallas Independent School District, bringing computer science opportunities to even more students across the city.
Among the new sites are our first two high school Coding Clubs at Woodrow Wilson High School in Lakewood and Lincoln High School in South Dallas. With the addition of Lincoln, along with Dade Middle School and Dunbar Learning Center, students in South Dallas now have a pathway to continue in Bold Idea’s Coding Clubs from 3rd through 12th grade, building their skills and confidence year after year.
We’re also proud to introduce our first all-girls Coding Club at the Young Women’s STEAM Academy at Balch Springs Middle School, inspiring the next generation of women in tech.
Together with our school partners, volunteer mentors, and supporters, Bold Idea is making computer science education accessible, engaging, and life-changing for Dallas students.
