Glynis Rodgers
Glynis serves as the Program Manager of Bold Idea and is responsible for managing the ideaSpark Coding Clubs in Dallas ISD schools and other Dallas community organizations. She has a background in program and project management, organization operations, and community engagement.
Prior to joining Bold Idea, her career path has led her to work in public health, higher education, and in private and nonprofit organizations. Glynis has shifted her professional focus to assist students in exploring STEM professions and providing opportunities and resources to enhance their STEM capabilities. Glynis has always been a STEM enthusiast and an advocate for increasing underserved students to pursue careers in STEM.
Glynis graduated from Jackson State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Education. She earned a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Behavioral Science/Health Education from Saint Louis University’s School of Public Health.
Glynis was born and raised in St. Louis, Mo and currently resides in Dallas, TX. In her spare time she enjoys reading, volunteering, binge watching tv shows and movies, and making plans to travel to dream destinations.
